Coates Way Fundraisers
Welcome to the Coates Way Fundraisers web page!
Coates Way Fundraisers is a voluntary organisation run by parents/carers of children who attend the school. The sole purpose of the Coates Way Fundraisers is to raise funds that can be used by the school to enhance their learning and offer them opportunities the children may otherwise not experience. Every parent/carer is a member of the Fundraisers. Anything from getting involved in planning events, helping run them or even just attending events, actively supports the Fundraisers.
Every year, the volunteers of the Fundraisers raise thousands of pounds for the school through the organisation of social activities such as the hugely popular gift sales (3 times per year), summer fayre, KS2 disco, KS1 party, cake sales and ice cream sales. As well as raising money, Fundraiser events offer the opportunity to meet other parents. We aim to meet at least once every term, usually at the local Harvester – the dates are communicated via our Facebook page. We welcome any parents/carers to join us. We are a friendly bunch!
In the most recent years, the Fundraisers funds have been used towards:
– Year 6 leavers bowling and meal
– New PA system
– New books for each year group
– Payment towards the gazebo
– Electronic advertising screens
– Payment of coaches to/from Christmas pantomime
– Payment towards work needed on the nursery building
– Payment towards outdoors gym equipment
